Perspective

As you get further away:

You start getting an interesting perspective:

Of where we are in the world:

If you get into the Bible and limit yourself to the study of that hard to understand verse, you will get a Biblical perspective like the first image above. But if you pay attention to Paul's words to Timothy: "Till I come, give attendance to reading" (1Timothy 4:13 a), then you will begin to get a broader perspective on how all those verses fit in to the grander scheme of things like the 5th image above. Making the habit to read those 8 chapters a day will eventually give you a spiritual and Biblical perspective like this:

Studying is good for zooming in, but nothing gives perspective like reading.
