Building Faith

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I have a close relative who has lived her life apart from God.  Since a teen she left church, had little or no contact with fellow Christians, and excluded the Bible, its study, and its teachings from her life.

She is an intelligent person–a good person, but has lived a hard life; a life of disappointment, wrong/hurtful choices, and failure.  Even today she seeks desperately for something to fill that void, but most likely will make the wrong choice.

One’s faith can never be written without its author and finisher.
