VOTING DAY!

Remember the last time you voted? The next day you woke up disappointed, jubulent, or indifferent.

TAKE HEART!

God is still in control:

Daniel 2:20-21, 4:17…Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding…to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Tomorrow when you get up, there will be different men in office; there will be men in office who have been there seemingly forever, and…the wonderful life that God has given us with its bountiful blessings and opportunity will go on.

May God guide you in your vote!

  1. I sure felt guided by God in my voting and it was a good feeling. I feel at my best after voting, after an election, even if I am not pleased at the outcome. It is great to know that we have this opportunity to decide who will lead us and this blessing is something we take for granted. Despite that many I voted for did not get in and I knew they wouldnt, life does go on, for myself and everyone else- and those who ran for offices lives are certainly more fulfilled- whether or not they won. Its about learning and growing as a person.

Politics is one of the uglier things in our world but during a campaign, one learns a lot about themselves as a person, and what they stand for in life and value most emerges- candidates and voters alike.

  2. A Christian’s life is like that, CH. We are to do the right thing, but the outcome is in the hands of the Lord. We may not always understand what the outcome is, but we always can rest assured and with peace know that He is at the helm!

    God bless!
