CONY SENSE

I remember from days gone by a song that had the following gist:

The wise man built his house upon the rock and a foolish man built his on sand. When the rains and floods came, the wise man’s house was the only one standing. This song was taken from the Jesus’ words as read in Matthew 7:24-27

Proverbs 30:26 The conies [are but] a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

The feeble conies (rock badgers) mentioned by Solomon were just like the aforementioned wise man. (As my grandmother used to say, “They have sense enough to come out of the rain.”) Although they aren’t strong, they use their God-given sensibility to provide for their¬†security and that of their family’s.

God expects us to use use wisdom with the resources we have.
