Common Sense Christian

The Thinking Christian’s Site

Note

Hi Common Sense Christians!

Not long ago, we mentioned that there were hundreds of daily devotional sites, emails, etc. available on the web.  Many of these are tremendous, and here at CSC we urge you to take advantage of them.

We also mentioned that we wanted to continue to move toward more of a “thinking” format.  An attempt to stimulate our thought in a direction that may challenge or strengthen us.

The thoughts we want to present may take us away from our comfort zones, present worlds that we are unaware of or put us into situations that we may not want to think about, but truly NEED to think about.

If you notice today’s “Daily Devotional” caption has been changed to “Today’s Thought.”   It is our goal to present daily, but we want to think and pray about what we publish to make sure that it comes close to being worthy of the time you invest in its reading.

Thank you for your encouragement, love and support.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.

  1. Hi Paul, I like the idea of calling it a thought. That eliminates the false difference between spiritual and secular thoughts, actions, whatever. We should be devoted to Jesus and willing to act in many ways.

I am as interested as I ever was in what’s posted on this site, but we are preparing for a vacation and visit to my family in Missouri. If I don’t comment much between now and the first of October, that’s why. Love, Helen
