I Corinthians 13:4-7 Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Even when adversity challenges again and again, love continues to operate.

Agape is tough.

It is about maturity, it is about strength.

It works hard.

It gets back up after being repeatedly knocked down.

It is not easily discouraged.

True love does not give up – on God, or on others. The divine dictionary of love will be a lifetime challenge, but the demonstration of this virtue will prove that we are truly the Lord’s disciples (John 13:35).

True love is not for wimps.

(Note:  There is a difference between “beareth” and “endureth” in vs. 7)

  1. Amazing video. Can you say a bit more about the difference between bearing and enduring?
