The Daily Teaser

Our friend Ellen has revived the Daily Teaser from blogging ashes.

Here is one with a twist.

The following (difficult) wordsearch contains the words to a Bible verse.  Be the first to find the words, unscramble and tell us what the verse is, and you are the WINNER!

What do you win?

We will send you a free dvd of The Privileged Planet

This video is a testament to the wonderfully complex design of our universe and the probability of its need for a creator.

It is inspiring and educational.

Best of all, its free!

The clock is ticking!

The Daily Teaser

The Daily Teaser may not have been a good idea.  So far no one has weighed in on one of them.  Maybe we're all too tired by the time we get around to the Bereans.   Anyhow, unless this one gets a response we'll just discontinue them for something else.

Hink pinks are one-syllable words that rhyme; hinky pinkies are two-syllable words that rhyme; hinkety pinketies are three-syllable words that rhyme. For example, what's a hinky pinky for a humorous animal with long ears? Answer: funny bunny. Try these:

  1. What's a hink pink for an obese feline?
  2. What's a hinky pinky for an improved written communication?
  3. What's a hinkety pinkety for a believable food?
  4. What's a hinky pinky for turbulent sauce?
  5. What's a hink pink for something you see that glows?

The Daily Teaser

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

News!

Since we Bereans pride ourselves on our limber minds, we have a new daily post–The Daily Teaser.

Each day you have an opportunity to answer (comment below) the teaser question.  Be honest and come up with answer before hitting the comment button – you wouldn't want to cheat would you? 🙂

Today's Teaser:

A blind beggar had a brother who was killed in an automobile accident. At the funeral it came out that the deceased had no brother. What, then, was the relationship between the two?

The clock's ticking–be the first to weigh in and answer!
